The usual 220 V European power plug (2-pin) can be used in Croatia. For 3-pin plugs adapters are available in each apartment .

When travelling to Croatia it is enough to have a passport or an identity card. If you want to go to Bosnia (e.g. to visit the picturesque, tragically affected towns of Sarajevo or Mostar) you need the same documents.

In Croatia you pay in euros.

You need a car on the island because there is almost no public transport. For car or scooter rental on the island contact the following as early as possible: www.mediterano.hr. The vehicle will brought to the port at Vela Luka on your arrival.
