{"id":119,"date":"2015-01-29T08:24:02","date_gmt":"2015-01-29T08:24:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/korcula.ch\/en\/?page_id=119"},"modified":"2024-06-10T08:59:45","modified_gmt":"2024-06-10T08:59:45","slug":"getting-to-korcula","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/korcula.ch\/en\/getting-to-korcula\/","title":{"rendered":"Getting to Korcula"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>There are several ways to get to the island of Kor\u010dula<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You can <strong>fly to Split or Dubrovnik<\/strong>, connections to these destinations are getting better and better and you can hire cars at both airports under favorable conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>You can hire a car on the island too<\/strong>. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mediterano.hr\/rent-a-car\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.mediterano.hr\/c\/rent-a-car\/<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>From Split you can get directly to Vela Luka (8 km from Karbuni) by <strong>car ferry,<\/strong> or you can <strong>drive on the motorway,<\/strong> direction Dubrovnik and then via the Pelje\u0161ac peninsula to Orebi\u0107, then a short ferry trip to the island of Kor\u010dula. The drive from Dubrovnik to Kor\u010dula takes about three hours including the car ferry . You can hire a car on the island too.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>You can find <strong>car ferry<\/strong> connections at\u00a0<a title=\"Jadrolinija.hr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jadrolinija.hr\/en\/ferry-croatia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">http:\/\/www.jadrolinija.hr\/en\/ferry-croatia<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li>There is also an excellent motorway from Rijeka or Zagreb to Split (car ferry connections to Vela luka) or Plo\u010de where you can get car ferry connections to Trpanje on the Pelje\u0161ac peninsula. The motorway is new, there are lots of rest areas and it passes through some fantastic scenery.
